POLICIES
◊ Late Arrivals ◊
Please arrive on time to respect the time of both the stylist and other clients. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your appointment being rescheduled to avoid delays for the next client. Arriving more than 25 minutes late will forfeit the original appointment, which can be rescheduled after paying a $25 late fee, charged at the stylist’s discretion.
◊ Additional Guests ◊
We understand if you bring one guest with you; however, when 2 or more guests accompany you, it can take up all available seating and affect other clients’ comfort. Please be mindful to avoid bringing additional guests so we can ensure a relaxing environment for everyone.
◊ Cancellations ◊
If you need to cancel, please use the “cancel/change appointment” button in your confirmation email. If this option is unavailable, contact the stylist via call or WhatsApp. All cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.
If I need to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice due to unforeseen circumstances, I will prioritize rescheduling you at the earliest available time.
◊ No-Shows ◊
If you miss your appointment without notice, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the requested service must be paid when booking your next appointment.
After two no-shows, you must pay the full-service cost in advance to secure your next appointment. This payment will not be refunded.
◊ Braiding Services ◊
Braids require a non-refundable but transferable deposit of:
• $100 EC for full-service braiding (shampoo, treatment, blow-dry, braiding hair, and the braiding service).
• $50 EC for braiding service only.
Same-day cancellations for braiding services may attract a $50 cancellation fee, charged at the stylist’s discretion.
◊ Payment Methods ◊
The Beauty Lab accepts cash, all major cards (including AMEX), PayPal, EFT, Zelle, and cheque.
◊ Children Policy ◊
Children are welcome if they are receiving a service or are supervised by a guest accompanying them. Please ensure children do not run around the salon to avoid injury or damage to salon equipment. The salon is not liable for injuries, and parents/guardians are responsible for any damages caused by children in their care.
◊ Food Policy ◊
Eating is allowed in the salon, but please take all food remnants with you as food waste is not left in the salon.
◊ Service Guarantee & Refunds ◊
Your satisfaction is my highest priority. If you’re not entirely happy with your service, let me know within 3 days so I can make adjustments free of charge. Due to the nature of the service, refunds are not offered.
◊ Health ◊
For your comfort and safety, please inform the stylist of any allergies, medical conditions, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort during your service, let the stylist know immediately.
◊ Service Refusal ◊
The Beauty Lab reserves the right to refuse service to anyone behaving inappropriately or disrespectfully.
